HBO's 'True Blood' adds Chris Meloni, 'Pretty Little Liars' plot might change, and 'Hunger Games Cookbook' to be released

Chris Meloni to Join Cast of HBO's True Blood

Chris Meloni, who recently left his gig as Detective Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: SVU earlier in the year, made quite a name for himself on HBO’s Oz.Chris Meloni photo: screencrave.com

The actor is going back to his HBO roots.  No, not for a reprise of Oz—although that would be pretty awesome!

He’s joining the cast of True Blood!

There have been some rumors of this happening, but it looks like the deal has finally been made and everything’s a go!

Meloni will begin on the show during it’s 5th season as a powerful and ancient vamp who possesses the fate of Eric and Bill.

Sounds good, right?!

Know what sounds even better?  The fact that it won’t just be a guest role. Meloni is set to be a regular on the wildly popular series.

Identity of "A" on Pretty Little Liars Could Be Revealed

Anyone who watches Pretty Little Liars knows that “A” is one diabolical you-know-what!  He/she seems to be everywhere, know everything, and keeps the Liars under his/her thumb with a series of treats.Pretty Little Liars photo: ashleybenson.net

While the show is full of twists and turns and can keep viewers coming back for more week after week, the powers that be have managed to keep the identity of “A” hush hush. Some may speculate, but no one knows for sure who the mystery person really is.

But, all may be revealed. And soon. Like in just a few months!

Rumors are swirling that the identity of “A” will finally be revealed during the spring season finale set to air March 19th!

No details about the big reveal have been announced.  Although, it’s also being said that Alison’s murderer may be arrested and there may also be a death (no, not a main character!).

Mark your calendars now!

Hunger Games Cookbook to Be ReleasedHunger Games Cookbook photo: sciencefiction.com

If you’ve read The Hunger Games series, then you know that the books talk quite a lot about the food that the Tributes eat. Some sound pretty normal—like the bread from Peeta’s family bakery. While others, like Groosling, aren’t like anything you can find in your local grocery store.

Now you can eat like the Tributes thanks to The Unofficial Hunger Games Cookbook.

A lot of the recipes will allow you to easily replicate the dishes served in the Capital.  Katniss’s fave lamb stew can easily be recreated—although be prepared to buy a ton of ingredients.

But, the book also includes some recipes that are only for the brave. Care to venture into the woods to kill your own squirrels to make the Wild Squirrel & Sausage Gumbo?  Yeah, probably not!

If you’re up for the culinary challenge, you can find it on Amazon for under 15 bucks.
