Tim Tebow would soar with the Philadelphia Eagles

I know what you’re thinking. We have enough quarterbacks in Philadelphia and Tim Tebow is not a prototypical type of QB so what is the point of the article? Before you discard this piece and move on to the rest of the sports section take a minute from your day and lets examine why Tim Tebow would look great in an Eagles uniform and when I’m through, you can either label me an idiot (Which I’m sure may of you have already) or a genius (Which is highly unlikely but let’s give it a shot anyway).

Welcome back to the Eagles Jeff Garcia

“Who’d have thought they’d lead ya…back here where we need ya. Yeah we tease him a lot but we got him cause we’ve got him on the spot welcome back.” Yes, these are the lyrics to the famed 70’s TV show “Welcome Back Kotter” and when songwriter John Sebastin wrote this hit jingle, I’m fairly certain he didn’t have Jeff Garcia in mind but the lyrics are pretty appropriate. Jeff Garcia is back in Eagle green for at least a week,… maybe longer?

NFL Week One- Grading the Eagles Win Over the Panthers

Passing Offense – It’s hard to give a real high grade to a unit that mustered just 82 yards, but that’s all the Eagles needed Sunday. Quarterback Donovan McNabb (10-for-18, two TDs, one Int) was very efficient and his numbers would have been better if not for three drops – one each from DeSean Jackson, Brent Celek and Kevin Curtis. McNabb also ran for a touchdown and left the game with sore ribs on that play. Kevin Kolb didn’t have to do much with a 38-10 lead, and he didn’t. GRADE: B
