Which Eagles will make the cut?

Halfway through the preseason, the Eagles are beginning to find out what they have, and what they need before the regular season starts, Sept. 13 in Carolina. By the end of this week they will make their first cuts and will have to get the roster down to the mandatory 53 by Saturday, Sept. 5. Let’s take a position by position look at what players are in, which ones are out and which ones are still battling. The number in parenthesis is the likely amount the team will keep at that position. Quarterbacks (3) Lock: Donovan McNabb

Eagles Playing "What's My Line?'

You take a quick look at the Eagles offensive line on their depth chart and you see the potential for greatness. Then you look out on the field and see Winston Justice. There isn’t another area on this team where the ceiling is so high and the floor so low than the offensive line which as training camp concluded its first week was still in a state of flux. Injuries have kept left tackle Jason Peters and right tackle Shawn Andrews out of the lineup and have limited right guard Stacy Andrews.

Ranking the Eagles Offense: Fullback is high; tight ends are low

How does the new-and-improved Eagles offense compare to the rest of the league? Better than you might think in some areas and perhaps not as good in others. Here at Philly2Philly.com we asked a five-man panel of scouts and personnel people around the league to rank the Eagles both individually and by position against the other 31 teams in the league. Some of the panel was more specific than others so we decided to break it down in categories: Top 5, top 10, top half, bottom half, bottom third. These are the results:
