Tim Tebow would soar with the Philadelphia Eagles

I know what you’re thinking. We have enough quarterbacks in Philadelphia and Tim Tebow is not a prototypical type of QB so what is the point of the article? Before you discard this piece and move on to the rest of the sports section take a minute from your day and lets examine why Tim Tebow would look great in an Eagles uniform and when I’m through, you can either label me an idiot (Which I’m sure may of you have already) or a genius (Which is highly unlikely but let’s give it a shot anyway).

Welcome back to the Eagles Jeff Garcia

“Who’d have thought they’d lead ya…back here where we need ya. Yeah we tease him a lot but we got him cause we’ve got him on the spot welcome back.” Yes, these are the lyrics to the famed 70’s TV show “Welcome Back Kotter” and when songwriter John Sebastin wrote this hit jingle, I’m fairly certain he didn’t have Jeff Garcia in mind but the lyrics are pretty appropriate. Jeff Garcia is back in Eagle green for at least a week,… maybe longer?

Which Eagles will make the cut?

Halfway through the preseason, the Eagles are beginning to find out what they have, and what they need before the regular season starts, Sept. 13 in Carolina. By the end of this week they will make their first cuts and will have to get the roster down to the mandatory 53 by Saturday, Sept. 5. Let’s take a position by position look at what players are in, which ones are out and which ones are still battling.
