Add Some Flavor to Father’s Day This Year

In 2010 Father's day is Sunday, June 20th. Give your dad something delicious this Father’s Day and treat him to a meal at one of these scrumptious restaurants featuring Father’s Day specials.

Tavern 17What’s better than the taste of free? This Sunday, June 20, Tavern 17 will be offering fathers a free meal with the purchase of an entrée from the brunch menu between 10am and 3pm. The tavern is located in Rittenhouse Square and offers sidewalk seating.

Your favorite guy doesn’t want a tie–he wants a steak! Head over to Bistro St. Tropez at 2400 Market St. on Saturday, June 19, between 5:30pm and 11pm or Father’s Day between 11am and 3pm and your dad will receive a complimentary 14 oz. grilled Black Angus rib eye. There must be one other person in the dinner party in order for fathers to receive the free meal.

Serve dad some Hawaiian fusion cuisine at Roy’s on South 15th St. and he will receive a $20 gift card to go toward his next visit. Roy’s will be featuring a three-course prix fixe brunch ranging from $23-$46.

CruisePops rock! Bring out the rockstar in your dad this Father’s Day and take him to Q BBQ & Tequila in Old City. He will be entered into a Yamaha Electric Guitar Drawing, set to take place on July 25, not to mention, he can also enjoy the best slow-style Southern barbecue around!

And if all else fails, a Philly cheesesteak will always put a smile on dad’s face. Take a trip to Pat’s, Geno’s or Tony Luke’s. Or you could even bring your father to the Phillies game for a Campo’s steak and a special giveaway. June 20 is Chevrolet Father’s Appreciation Day and as a thank you to dads, the Phillies are giving away the “Sarge cap,” designed by Phillies broadcaster, Gary Matthews.

Or how about treating dad to the Spirit of Philadelphia for a Father's Day cruise? He gets to see the city from a unique perspective, while having a fun outing on a boat with a festive buffet, engaging DJ entertainment and great views...and, of course, time with his children!
