Inaugural Green Drinks Philly event this Thursday

Green Drinks According to the Big Green Earth Store at 934 South Street, you don't have to be a superhero to save the planet. Apparently, purchasing eco-friendly products and imbibing cocktails during a Green Drinks event will do. So partake in the inaugural Green Drinks Philly event, on Thursday, July 22 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Horizons Restaurant at 611 South 7th Street.

Why is it called Green Drinks? Don't worry, you don't have to be drinking a shot of wheat grass. Rather, it's a world wide social network of people who meet up monthly over cocktails and spread the word about improving the environment. And Philly is getting in on the action!

The the inaugural Green Drinks Philly is brought to you by the Big Green Earth Store and Sun & Earth.  At the event you will be able to meet new eco-minded friends, find yourself a green job or green project, and learn where to find eco-friendly products & services throughout the Philadelphia area! If you bring your business cards, you can enter to win a Raffle for a basket chock full of green products!

Green Drinks Philly is free and open to the public. This is the first event at Horizons Restaurant, located at 611 South 7th Street, Philadelphia, PA. Horizons is a vegan restaurant co-owned by Kate Jacoby, Pastry Chef and General Manager, and Rich Landau, Executive Chef.
