2010 Philadelphia International Cycling Championship

This year marked the 26th annual Philadelphia International Cycling Championship, of which most simply refer to as "the bike race".  The bike race is the longest running in the US.  Men ride to complete 10 14.4 mile circuits which add up to a 156 mile race.  The women competing in the Liberty Classic, running simultaneously, is 4 laps of the same circuit, equalling a 57.6 mile race.  Both men and women have to ride up the seemingly impossible Manayunk wall on each loop while philadelphians as well as an international audience cheer the cyclists on.
