Celebrate Bastille Day With Le Bec-Fin

"Bookmark

Bastille DayBastille Day is coming! France’s Independence Day, celebrated July 14th to commemorate the 1789 storming of the Bastille, is just around the corner. And what’s that? You forgot to make plans? Well that’s ok, because Chef George Perrier is gonna hook you up.

Philly’s own little slice of France, Le Bec-Fin, is throwing a party to honor the holiday, beginning at noon and lasting until after dark. Food and drinks will be available for $6, deserts for $2. The chance to eat at Le Bec-Fin for under $10 doesn’t present itself often, so stop by Walnut Street and celebrate in style.

French food and drink specials will be served including croque-monsieur (hot ham and cheese grilled sandwich) and saucisson baguette (cold sausage, mustard. & cornichon) for $6 and mini pastries for $2. Drinks specials include red, white, and sparkling wine and beers for $6.

In France, Bastille Day is traditionally celebrated with a parade. In Philadelphia, Le Bec-Fin will provide live music, entertainment, French flags waving with pride and much more!
