'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' Recap: Season 6 Episode 3

It’s Always Reviewed in PhiladelphiaIt's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Episode 3: The Gang Buys a Boat

The third episode was awesome as predicted "Sunny" fans! I think it’s much better when the gang is united in one cause. In this case, they buy a boat with the money they made from Dick Towel. Of course, they only have around $2,500, so the boat is a piece of crap.

Dennis and Mac are, of course, planning to get chicks on the boat. In a really great scene, Dennis implies that once the girls are out on the ocean, they’ll be scared into having sex with him. Mac is a little disturbed by this and can’t let it go.

Back on the boat, Charlie, Frank and Dee are supposed to be cleaning the boat, but they end up trashing it. Plus, Frank and Charlie drops the keys in the water. But surprisingly, the gang gets the boat in the water for the finale, which I won’t give away.

I think this episode works well because the gang has one goal, but they each have different ways of achieving that. Ultimately, it’s their different pursuits that eventually lead to their own downfall. And it could happen to a nicer bunch of people.

We’ll be rating episodes according to the Sunny scale:

1 is Dee

2 is Frank

3 is Charlie

4 is Mac

5 is a Dennis

This episode is definitely a Mac, maybe even a Dennis. Well-balance, funny, tight and as awesome as the Dick Towel itself.
