Get ready for amazing clothes by local designers, students, national and international designers. Featuring four full days of music, clothes, celebs and fun, this event is going to rock, no doubt about it.

Art, food and dance performances add to this to make it an amazing experience. In between runway shows fashion attendees can shop, listen to music, meet the designers and discuss the latest looks.

Philly Fashion Week is open to the public and tickets are available via phone and online. It kicks off on Wednesday at 6:00pm.

The first two days of Philadelphia Fashion Week 2010 will feature local talent and student designers from local schools and designers in the city. Friday and Saturday will feature designers from the Manhattan area and other countries such as Peru, Italy and Russia.

Fresh designs from indie and new talent such as Nary Manivong, WeSC,Photo by Christine Tarlecki, Philadelphia Fashion Week 2009.  Cold Method, and Bolongaro Trevor are among 15 diverse designers coming to Philadelphia for the first time to present their collections. All designers were hand-picked by New York-based Michael Anderer, Executive Creative Director of CMK Entertainment and of Philadelphia Fashion Week.

“I wanted to narrow down the selection of national and international designers showing their collections on Philadelphia’s runway to a select few,” said Anderer. “These designers reflect both Philadelphia Fashion Week’s theme of the International Spirit as well as Philadelphia’s creative, independent spirit making their involvement a perfect fit.”

Overall, there are about 30 designers showing off the latest fresh looks and hot designs for fall and spring. The designers and stores offering pop-up Boutiques at Fashion Week are:

Christina V., Delicious Boutique, Duke & Winston, Flurry Berry Designs, Get Porked,Matthew Izzo, Patrick Carrow, Sculptz

Tommi Lifestyle Boutique and Traci Lynn Jewelry.

Kristie Bergey of The KB Experience, Charlie Smith of Lucca Photography, and Michael Anderer of DERELICTE inc, and make up CMK Entertainment, the group behind the production of Philadelphia Fashion Week.
