The Roundtable Gets the Tour: Comedians of Chelsea Lately Come to Philadelphia

Loni Love, Josh Wolf  and Brad Wollack performed along with special guest Chuy Bravo from the Chelsea Handler Show.Chuy Bravo  at the Tower Theatre. Chelsea Handler was recently in town, and now her roundtable pals are on tour.

Chuy Bravo opened the show, making fun of the fact the Tower Theatre is on 69th Street, and his first time here in Philly. Bravo is Chelsea’s assistant and her self-proclaimed ‘nugget,’ proving he is as sarcastic and funny onstage as he is on the show.

Brad Wollack is a writer and a regular on E!’s Chelsea Lately. At 16, he launched a public access TV show, and someday, knew he’d be on to bigger and better things. These days, Wollack is also an Emmy-Nominated television writer, producer and comedian.

Loni Love is well known for her witty comments on various VH1 shows, and as a regular commentator on Chelsea Lately Comedienne Loni Love.on E!, as well as cameos and parts in movies and TV shows! She just did a one hour special for Comedy Central, Loni Love: America's Sister. In college Love did stand-up, then that took back burner as she pursued other options. In 2009, Loni became a CNN correspondent for the show "D.L. Hughley Breaks the News" covering the inauguration of President Obama. She later made the switch to a full-time comic and now does what she lives- which is making people laugh.

Josh Wolf, a native of Amherst, Massachusetts, began doing stand-up in Seattle over 10 years when comics in New York were getting overcrowded. He eventually moved to LA and found that the only way he was going to get and stay employed was to work for himself, and as a sarcastic comic whose line of reasonings work.

His experiences in single fatherhood has led him to writing on a couple TV shows, such as “Yes, Dear" and  "All of Us."

Seeing all these funny people in one venue was great- I am a big fan of the show and everyone was fabulous and funny. These four comedians were well received in the city of brotherly love, as we love all things funny, gross, sexy and sarcastic. The dynamic of these comedians hasn’t faded a bit seeing then in person- they made the Philly fans laugh, and proved that can pack a funny punch both onscreen and off.
