"Doctor Who" To Be Directed By Harry Potter Director David Yates

David Yates, who lent his directorial skills to the last four Harry Potter movies, plans to team up with BBC to take the iconic sci-fi series from the small screen to the big screen.

The series, which had a long run between 1963 and 1989 and once launched again in 2005, follows an alien disguised as a human who, along with human companions, battles an array of cosmic baddies.

This isn’t the first time that the series has been made into a film. But what may set this attempt apart is that Yates doesn’t plan to have the film follow the series. Instead, he wants to take a completely new approach.

Considering the fact that the project doesn’t have a screenwriter, a production crew, or a cast, it could be a while before anyone knows exactly what the director plans for the franchise.

Mad Men Returning March 2012

Mark your calendars…Mad Men will be back in March 2012!  Bet by now you wondered when the heck it would start, didn’t you? mad men
While starting later than usual seems like a ridiculous change, it isn’t the biggest planned for the Mad Men series.

Matthew Weiner, the series’ creator, has some interesting plans in mind for the show’s finale.

In a recent interview, Weiner revealed that he already knows exactly how he’d like to see the finale go.

Apparently he plans to end the show, which is set in New York in the 60’s, in the present day. That would make Don Draper 84!

While Weiner wants the show to end in a way that will allow fans to not only understand exactly what the show has meant all along, he hasn’t revealed whether Draper will still be working in advertising, if he will kick the bucket, or if he will live out the rest of his life in happy retirement.

You’ll just have to watch the final season to find out.

In a recent interview, Pitt revealed that he would like to retire when he turns 50.

But, he doesn’t plan to leave showbiz all together.  He’s taken an interest in the production and story development and wouldn’t mind stepping behind the camera once he’s done in front of it.

But, that’s not all for Pitt’s big news.

Move over Duggars, because Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who already have 6 children, may have more.

When asked if he and Jolie would have more children, he admitted that he isn’t sure if they’re finished or if they will or won’t have any more.
