Returning to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, Gaga kicked off her 2011 North American Monster Ball Tour, which is produced globally by Live Nation. The pop diva's sold-out concert featured full sets, a huge stage, and Gaga’s signature costumes which fans have come to expect and love.

Opening the show behind a sheer curtain with her silhouette lighting up Boardwalk Hall, the pop star simply sang “Dance in the Dark” as fans screamed for the 24 year-old whose pipes matched her talent for writing songs and playing instruments.

“The Monster Ball will set you free Atlantic City!” echoed Gaga to the crowd as her fans cheered and applauded.

The show’s theme had a New York City feel to it, highlighting streets from the Big Apple, taxi cabs, fountains, signs and a darker version of iconic Central Park. With a Broadway-musical feel to it, the Monster Ball presents a story to the audience. Gaga and her friends are heading to the Monster Ball in New York when they get lost—then the sexy pop, rock, techno and raw ride for all begins.

Along with her theatrics all night, Gaga also addressed the crowd throughout the show sharing personal experiences, offering advice and words of encouragement.

The spectacle offered a toxic musical cocktail one part glitz, one part glamour and of course, one part burlesque. Selling more than 51 million singles and 15 million albums worldwide, Gaga made sure she sang all of her hits. Some of the crowd favorites included: “Just Dance,”  “Poker Face,” “Lovegame,” “Paparazzi,” “Bad Romance,”  “Telephone,” “Boys, Boys, Boys” and “Alejandro.”  She also performed one of her new songs entitled, “You And I” to her adoring fans. While playing the piano, she even used her stiletto boots to hit a few keys.

At the end of the theatrical concert, Gaga had fireworks shoot out from her bikini top and bottom! She then informed the crowd she had a surprise for them, and her fans knew exactly what she meant. The hall was soon filled with more screams for the artist to come back out. Singing her new smash-hit, “Born This Way,” she reappeared on stage while the audience sang and danced along with her.

Lady Gaga’s two-hour Monster Ball was the ultimate dance party for the thousands of excited fans who got the opportunity to hear their favorite hits by Mother Monster, and to tell her themselves they were born this way.
