The American Idols LIVE! Tour rolled into Atlantic City over the weekend captivating the crowd with a two hour concert featuring the Top 11 finalists from season 10 of FOX’s hit reality TV competition, American Idol.

On Saturday night at historic Boardwalk Hall Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Naima Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Stefano Langone and Thia Megia dazzled and delighted fans.

The show opened with Pia, Thia, Haley, and Naima performing Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” Each of the Top 11 sang solo numbers highlighting their own unique talent—a long standing Idol tradition. Pia performed a slower and sexier version of the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys mega hit “Empire State of Mind,” before she was joined on-stage with Stefano for a duet to “California King Bed.”

Next, McDonald crooned to the crowed Rod Stewart’s “Maggie May” which suited his voice and style perfectly as he sported a black leather jacket and boots.  Sixteen year-old Megia returned to sing “Who Says” by Selena Gomez & the Scene. For Stefano’s solo he started by playing the keyboard and sang “Grenade” by Bruno Mars in a white jacket and pants with a black shirt. Pia, Haley, Thia and Naima joined him for an energetic “DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love” to which he treated his adoring admirers to a bug surprise—he ripping off his shirt causing them to scream even louder.

In-between sets, the TV show’s host Ryan Seacrest along with judges Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler provided video introductions.

The boys came out in full force as Paul, Stefano, James, Casey, and Jacob sang Neon Trees’ “Animal.” Naima Adedapo sang “On the Floor” in a rainbow colored costume and danced barefoot on the stage. Casey followed with “Smooth,” “Harder to Breathe” and a rousing duet with Haley to “Moanin,” a song they first sang together during the American Idol competition. Wearing matching shinny red suits with black shirts, all of the Idols (except Lauren and Scotty) performed the censored version of Cee Lo Green’s wildly popular “Forget You!”

After intermission adorable runner up Lauren, began with a country rendition of “Flat on the Floor” followed by “Like My Mother Does,” a song she dedicated to her mom who was backstage and was then joined by Haley, Stefano, and Thia for “If I Die Young.”

For his set, fun loving rocker James appeared at the back of the venue in the audience and vivaciously ran through the hall making his way up to the stage while belting out Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child o' Mine” followed by Muse’s “Uprising.”

Jacob sang “Never Too Much” by Luther Vandross and then sped things up with Stefano, Pia, and Thia for Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s “You're All I Need to Get By.”

In an off the shoulder black and silver sequined dress, Haley commanded the stage as she sang “The House of the Rising Sun” followed by Elton John’s “Bennie and the Jets.”

Then, the wait was finally over for all of the Scotty fans as he appeared on stage wearing a flannel print shirt, jeans and boots singing Josh Turner’s “Your Man,” then Thompson Square’s “Are You Going to Kiss Me Or Not” and his new single “I Love You This Big.”

Lauren then joined Scotty to perform a duet to “When You Say Nothing at All” by Keith Whitley.

Thia, Pia and Haley walked on the stage with Scotty and Lauren singing Montgomery Gentry’s “Gone.”

A group medley rounded out the concert, pairing James and Lauren together for Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again;” Paul, Haley and Casey for Journey’s “Faithfully;” and Stefano, Naima, Thia, and Jacob for Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way.”

All 11 of the young singers closed out the show with a mash-up of Journey’s “Any Way You Want It” and “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin” as audience members stood cheering and singing along. Having watched the season 10 contestants audition for the show, make it to Hollywood and begin their journey of a lifetime— fans of all ages and from many walks of life gathered at Boardwalk Hall to see their favorite American Idols live in concert proving that dreams really do come true.
