Beyonce to open Atlantic City’s Revel Casino

It’s been a couple of months since Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy.  So it’s only natural that fans are starting to wonder if she’s enjoying mommy-hood too much to return to the stage or if she’ll once again be announcing concert dates.Beyonce photo: http://www.fanpop.com

Good news!  She will be making a post-baby comeback.  And her first stop will be, drum roll please, the new Revel in Atlantic City!

The singer can be seen in three shows over Memorial Day weekend, which is from May 25th through the 27th.

Beyonce will be the very first singer to headline at the new $2.4 billion hotel and casino.  And it sounds like the concert hall in which she’ll perform is insane!

Apparently the same people who created the stadiums in which Cirque du Soleil performs also designed the hall.

Should be pretty awesome!

Celine Dion’s Health Issues

It seems like a lot of celebrities are becoming victims of celebrity death hoaxes, with the latest being Celine Dion.

While she’s still alive and kicking, Dion has had some problems as of late.

Last month the singer had to cancel some shows thanks to vocal cord inflammation that was caused by a virus. The doctors had told Dion that she had to rest her voice for eight weeks, which was not good news for her fans to hear.

But, her fans can once again rest easy, because Dion has been told that within the next four weeks she’ll be back to her old self and can resume belting it out at her concerts.

As of right now the singer is scheduled to being working together with a vocal coach and, in mid-April, she’ll also start recording her new French and English albums.

Her Vegas concerts will start back up on June 9.

Gallagher recovering

Do you remember Gallagher?  He’s the goofy comedian known for smashing watermelons on stage in front of delighted, plastic-clad audiences.

Well, it seems like he isn’t laughing much lately.  In fact, he’s having a pretty hard time medically.

Last year, while performing in Minnesota at the Whiskey Bones Roadhouse, he suffered a heart attack. And just when it looked like he might be getting better, he had another.

After his recent heart attack, the 65-year-old comedian was rushed to the hospital, where doctors put him in a medically induced coma. He’s been allowed to come out of the coma, but as of right now is still a guest in the hospital.

Gallagher’s manager has said that it isn’t how long he’ll be in the hospital, but is apparently doing well.  He’s moving around, breathing on his own, and doing what he does best—making jokes.
