'Octomom' Files for Bankruptcy, John Legend Replaces Lionel Richie on ABC's 'Duets,' Woody Harrelson & Matthew McConaughey Teaming Up Again

"Octomom" Nadya Suleman Declares Bankruptcy

Just about anyone who has ever heard of Nadya Suleman knows what a hot mess she is.

Better known as the Octomom, Suleman first gained recognition is 2009 when she gave birth to octuplets.

The single mom, who already had six young children, quickly became a media favorite.

Since then she’s been in and out of the spotlight with focus on her parenting skills, weight loss, talks of plastic surgery, and talks of being involved in porn.

She’s once again in the news, this time for money problems.

Suleman is so far into debt she has decided to file for bankruptcy.

The 36-year-old is claiming she cannot pay her bills, has assets that equal less than $50,000, and has a debt in the range of $500,000 to $1 million.

Among those she supposedly owes are the DMV, Verizon Wireless, and DirecTV—just to name a few.

Not really surprising, huh?

John Legend Replaces Lionel Richie on ABC's "Duets", Which Premieres in MayJohn Legend photo: tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com

Yet ANOTHER singing competition show is set to premiere in May.  That’s right, another reality show that looks for unknown singing talent.

While the premise of Duets might be a little different than the other already popular competition shows, it’s the fact that it’s starting off ith a little controversy that is already setting it apart.

It’s been reported that the show is going through a little bit of a cast shakeup.

Apparently, Lionel Richie was scheduled to be one of the judges.  But just a few weeks before the show’s premiere, the singer has pulled out because of scheduling conflicts.

The good news is that Richie’s departure hasn’t ruined the show because John Legend has stepped up to take his place.

Other confirmed judges are Jennifer Nettles, Robin Thicke, and Kelly Clarkson.

The four will work to weed out the talent until they find the person who will make the perfect singing partner.

Look for on ABC starting May 24th.

Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are Teaming Up in "True Detective"

After starring together in Surfer, Dude and Edtv, Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey may once again be working with each other.  That is if the deal that HBO is currently working on goes through.

Should everything go smoothly, the actors will star as detectives in what has been dubbed 'True Detective.'

The show, which was written by The Killing’s Nic Pizzolatto, will center on a pair of detectives who cross paths while probing into a 17-year-old case that involves a Louisiana serial killer.

The storyline will begin in 1995, when the murder takes place, and jumps to 2012, when the case is reopened.

Any seasons that will follow the first will have the same premise, but will feature a new storyline and new characters.

Sounds like a good one!
