It’s been more than 30 years since Natalie Wood mysteriously drowned, but that doesn’t mean that the case has been closed and filed away.

The investigation into her drowning was reopened in 2011 after several sources revealed some new information.  And this past August the cause of her death was changed to “undetermined” from “accidental.”

Not it’s looking like some more details from the even have come to light. According to a latest report, bruising was found on her leg that more than likely occurred before she hit the water.

Apparently “there were recent bruises to the back of the left thigh.  A few day old bruises were on the back of the right thigh and knee but there were fresh bruises and scratches to the right posterior leg.”

The report also went on to say that “The location of the bruises, the multiplicity of the bruises, lack of head trauma, or facial bruising support bruising having occurred prior to the entry into the water.”

Does this mean foul play was involved?  That is still unknown.  But perhaps further analysis of the evidence and more investigating will uncover other facts that have not previously been found.

Disney announces new features

Brace yourself because you are about to learn about a whole bunch of Disney features that will be coming out in the coming years.

By now you probably know that Disney planned to release a live action version of Maleficent featuring Angelina Jolie as the Sleeping Beauty villain.  Originally it was planned for a March 14, 2014 release.  But, the film is now being moved to July 2, 2014 so it has a holiday weekend release.

Not to worry, though, March 2014 will still see the release of a Disney film.  The Muppets 2 is planned for the 21st.

That’s not all.

The fifth installment of the popular Pirates of the Caribbean series is set to hit theaters on July 10, 2015 and will once again feature Johnny Depp.

Still not all.

Brad Bird’s 1952 starring George Clooney can be seen in 3D starting on December 19, 2014.

It has also been announced by Disney that Marvel Studios will be releasing Captain America: The Winter Soldier in April 2014 and a few months later in August you’ll get to see Guardians of the Galaxy.

Looks like Disney has enough to keep movie fans happy for quite some time!
