King of Prussia's Beerfest STILL has tickets for Saturday, October 5th!

"Bookmark

King of Prussia Beerfest Royale opened with the sold out Donnerstag: Happy Hour on October 3rd.  Wonderful King of Prussia restaurants offered delicious dishes, which were paired perfectly with flavorful beers. There was live music from The Hoppin’ John Orchestra, sweet desserts, a swanky lounge featuring innovative beer-cocktails, a wonderful, awesome, spooky pumpkin beer bar (did I mention I LOVE pumpkin beer!?), a rockin’ cigar lounge, well, this was one happy hour that was freaking amazing.KOP Beerfest

The fun doesn’t stop here, however, tickets are still available for Saturday’s sessions!

So many amazing King of Prussia restaurants – sushi from Wegmans, sweet potato casserole and ahi tuna bites and rare roast beef sliders from Ruth Chris’s Steakhouse, rigatoni D and these amazing little apple strudels from Maggiano’s, sweet hot sausage from Ralph’s of South Philly, sausage Mac n Cheese (yuuuummm!) from Rock Bottom Brewery, plus edible delights from Pepper’s Italian Restaurant, and Morton’s.

Desserts were plentiful as well, with their signature shot glass creations from Seasons 52 and custards, cakes, pies from the restaurants. And no festival would be complete without a food truck- a cupcake truck from Dia Dolce to be exact! With flavors such as chocolate cayenne, cookie dough and pumpkin you can’t go wrong.

And the beer. Oh my gosh the beer. Over 50 craft & international brewers, featuring 100 beers at Beerfest Royale The pumpkin beer lounge was my favorite, with too many brewers to even name here-just get to this event and taste for yourself.KOP Beerfest

All the brewers will greet you with happy smiles and speak knowledgeably of their tasty craft. My main squeeze and photographer S has declared himself an IPA man, especially after sampling Dogfish Head and Victory’s beers. I quite enjoyed the Evil Genius’ Trick or Treat Chocolate Pumpkin Porter- that was like beery happy dessert in a glass. Smooth and flavorful, it’s a total treat.

I am not a huge beer fan; I don’t drink it that much. But attending this event educates my beer palate and I’ll be laying in a supply of beers for the upcoming colder months! Having the opportunity to meet and sample with so many local awesome brewers is very import and also very cool- drink local beer!

The Beerfest Royale will be held outdoors (and gorgeous weather slated for tomorrow!), under tents at the King of Prussia Mall, the Plaza. Parking is adjacent to Mall Boulevard, in between Wills & Goddard across from Rite Aid and JC Penney.
