‘InAPPropriate Comedy’ bombs

Have you heard of the movie InAPPropriate Comedy?  Yeah, me neither.  And it looks like not many other people have either, because it did not do well at all this past weekend.

Apparently it was shown in 275 theaters nationwide and only brought in $172,000—which averages out to about $625 per location.

Besides the fact that it the movie is virtually unknown, what else could have contributed to its poor showing?

Well, its director could be a big reason.  It was directed by, get this, Vince Offer.  If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s the strange guy that you’ve seen in the Slap Chop/ShamWow infomercials.  He’s also the guy who allegedly be a prostitute.  I guess now he’s a movie director!  SMH

Its stars are also another reason.  Lindsay Lohan—yep.  Rob Schneider—perhaps, Michelle Rodriguez—maybe.  Adrien Brody—you read that right—he signed on for this thing!  Odd casting choices.

The last might be the storyline.  The movie is about what supposed hilarity ensues when “a computer tablet full of the world’s most hilariously offensive apps breaks through the borders of political correctness, stirring up cultural anarchy.”

Say what now?!

It’s looking like the romance and chemistry are both gone for My Chemical Romance because the band has recently announced on its website that it is breaking up.

“Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We've gotten to go places we never knew we would. We've been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible. We've shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure” the band said in a statement.

Frontman Gerard Way also made his own statements via Twitter.  In his first message he said, “Beyond any sadness, what I feel the most is pride.”

He also used this TwitLonger post to reveal a little more about his true feelings and ended with:

“My Chemical Romance is done. But it can never die. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. I always knew that, and I think you did too. Because it is not a band- it is an idea.”

Jesse James remarries

Jesse James got married again.  For the fourth time.  Yes, that’s right, the fourth time.

The reality star and former CEO of West Coast Choppers has said “I Do” to Alexis DeJoria, who is not only a drag racer, but is also the daughter of John Paul DeJoria, the cofounder of Patron Spirits and Paul Mitchell hair products.

Just a day after the ceremony, which took place over the weekend at John Paul DeJoria’s home, James took to Instagram to share his news.

He posted a pic of him and his new bride with the caption, “Love, Wife, Family, Work…Life always finds a way of showing US what is most important. #Humbled #blessed.”

James divorced third wife Sandra Bullock in 2010 and in September 2011 he ended his engagement with Kat Von D.

Maybe the fourth time’s the charm!
