'Friends' reunion not happening

Rumors of a Friends reunion have been swirling for quite some time now.  And in the last day or two it was looking like it was finally going to happen.

But, regardless of what the latest reports are saying, there is no reunion in the works and, according to co-creator Marta Kauffman, it will never happen.

When asked about the reunion she squashed the rumors once and for all.

“I’m going to clear this up—it’s not happening!”

And don’t think that just because the show isn’t coming back, that there is still hope for a movie because she squashed those rumors, too.

“Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore.”

Well, boooo!!!

Have you heard the rumors about Ozzy Osbourne going back to his old drinking and drug habits?

Maybe you’ve heard that he and Sharon are heading for a divorce?

Well, it looks like one of the two rumors is true.

According to a post on his Facebook page, he and Sharon are doing just fine.  But, he has given in to his addictive impulses.

“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs.  I was in a very dark place and was an asshole to the people I love the most, my family.  However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober.”

He also added, “Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing.  I’m just trying to be a better person.”

He finished it all off with an apology.

Good for him for owning up to it all and doing something about it.

Faith Hill & Sunday Night Football part company

Picture this:  It’s a cool Sunday night in the fall.  You turn on the TV and hear Faith Hill belting out “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” and all seems right with the world because your fave team is about to take the field.

Now, picture this:  The same scenario, but no familiar song begins to play to get you pumped for the big game.

Unfortunately, the second scenario is exactly what is going to happen come next fall because the singer has announced that she and her famous song will no longer be a part of Sunday Night Football.

On Monday she tweeted, “Amazing 2 have been part of SNF – an honor.  I’ve just let everyone there know it’s time 2 let someone else rock the open.”

SNF producer Fred Gaudelli responded with his own tweet, “Great love and appreciation to @FaithHill for six great years of rocking the SNF open.”

So far there’s no actual explanation as to why Hill stepped down.  And no announcement has been made as to who will take her place.
