'American Horror Story' Season 3 details, Jason Aldean to divorce, Beastie Boys writing memoir

American Horror Story season 3 details

I’m sure you can all tell by now that I love American Horror Story.  Before the second season started I did my best to give you as many updates as possible.

Now, I plan to do it again as more and more details are being revealed about season 3.

So, I’m going to tell you what I know so far.

Creator Ryan Murphy has given us some clues by telling is that several key characters will be returning, Kathy Bates will be joining the cast, and that the name will be American Horror Story: Coven.

I’ve also learned that, unlike the first two seasons, season 3 will not have a particular theme.  Instead, it will be “about a lot of things.”

Filming will take place in New Orleans, as well as some other unnamed locales, which may or may not be some places well known for being haunted. And most recently Murphy tweeted, “Thrilled to announce Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe is joining the cast of American Horror Story:  Coven.”

Hmmmmmmm…can’t wait to hear what else is revealed!

 Jason Aldean to divorce

Jason Aldean’s marriage seemed a bit rocky for a while after he was caught kissing American Idol’s Brittany Kerr.  But he issued a public apology and all seemed fine again.

But, apparently things never really went back to normal for the country singer and Jessica Ussery because they have announced that they will be divorcing after 12 years of marriage.

In a recent statement that he released to E! News, Aldean said, “This is a really tough time for my entire family.  Jessica and I have been together since we were teenagers.  We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs over the years as we grew together as a couple.  She will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children, and I know that we will both always make our daughters our #1 priority.”

Papers were filed on April 26 in Williamstown County, TN.  And the reason for

the split?  Irreconcilable differences.

Surviving Beastie Boys to write memoirPhoto: Factmag.com

Did you grow up listening to The Beastie Boys and have wondered just what the group is all about?

Well, wonder no more because you will soon be able to read all about them.

The group’s two surviving members—Adam Horovitz and Michael Diamond—have recently signed on the dotted line with Random House’s Spiegel & Grau to write a memoir.

Right now it’s sounding like the book will be a little different than what you might be used to.  The rappers turned authors plan to combine pictures and an oral history with musings about pop culture and how they have fit into the genre.

They also plan to include contributions from other writers.  And I’m sure we can expect some kind of memorial to Adam Yauch, the band’s third member who died in 2012.

The book doesn’t yet have a title, but it is being said that it will be released sometime during the fall of 2015.
