NCIS star to leave show, Daft Punk condoms, Halle Berry to marry

NCIS star to leave show

Fans of NCIS probably can’t wait for the new season to start.  But they may be shocked to learn that it won’t be quite what they’re used to…namely because Cote de Pablo, who plays Ziva David, will be leaving the show.

CBS has confirmed that the actress made the decision not to renew her contract, but will be seen one last time in the new season’s first episode so her storyline can be finished.

“I’ve had eight great years with NCIS and Ziva David,” she said in a recent statement.  “I have huge respect and affection for Mark, Gary, Michael, David, Rocky, Pauley, Brian, Sean, all of the team and CBS.  I look forward to finishing Ziva’s story.”

CBS also released a statement saying the following

“We respect Cote’s decision, thank her for being an important part of the NCIS team, and for eight terrific years playing Ziva David.  Cote and CBS share a great respect for the NCIS audience, and we look forward to working with her and the producers on appropriate closure in this chapter of Ziva’s story.”

When you look for items sporting the logo of your fave band, you expect to find items such as poster, t-shirts, hats, stickers, and more.  What you might not expect is condoms.

Well, if you’re a Daft Punk fan and you want some paraphernalia that’s a little different, then you can pick up their very own brand of love gloves.  At least sometime in the near future.

The band teamed up with Durex to create their line of condoms that will feature their logo and the words “Get Lucky,” which also happens to be the name of their hit single from Random Access Memories.

Not quite sure when the condoms will be on store shelves or just where you can find them, so until then you’ll just have to “get lucky” with other protection until you can find them.

It may have come as a bit of a surprise when 46-year-old Halle Berry announced that she is pregnant. Now she’s made another shocking announcement—she will once again be walking down the aisle.

And soon!

Berry has been married twice before and had said that she did not plan to wed again.  But it looks like she has changed her mind because now she’s confirming and she and fiancée Olivier Martinez will be saying “I Do” sometime this weekend.

No details about the wedding have been revealed, but she had previously said in an interview that if she were to get married again that it would be small.

Perhaps it will be a destination wedding since the couple were seen leaving LAX along with Nahla, Berry’s daughter from a previous relationship.

Congrats to the happy couple!!
