Michael Buble Brings ‘To Be Loved’ Tour To Atlantic City

With his dashing demeanor and retro style Michael Buble delighted fans during his recent concert at Boardwalk Hall  in Atlantic City.

The classic Canadian crooner belted out hits like “It’s a Beautiful Day,” “Close Your Eyes,” “Haven’t Met You Yet,” “That’s All,” “Everything,” “Home,” “Save the Last Dance for Me,” and “A Song for You” to a sold out crowd.

The show featured a variety of songs that entertained audience members and bridged the age gap. Backed by a 13-piece band, Buble sang covers of Peggy Lee’s “Fever,” The Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love,” Elvis Presley’s “Burning Love,” Frank Sinatra’s “You Make Me Feel So Young,” Van Morrison’s “Moondance,” The Jackson Five’s “Who’s Loving You” and Billy Paul’s “Me and Mrs. Jones.” The timeless tunes prompted fans young and old to sing along and dance in the aisles.

The ‘To Be Loved’ Tour is in support of Buble’s eighth studio album, To Be Loved and the Atlantic City stop was the last one on Buble’s leg of the North American tour. The multi-Grammy Award winner has played to millions of spectators around the world while his hit, “To Be Loved,” topped the charts in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and more than a dozen other countries.

On Buble’s website, the contemporary pop singer describes his latest body of work, “The album swings big time, it rocks, it’s soulful, it’s happy, sometimes a little sad, it’s romantic, it’s yummy and it’s heartfelt.”

Reminiscent of the type of shows icons such as Sinatra and Dean Martin previously performed, Buble mirrored their charismatic showmanship by engaging attendees as he told jokes, funny stories and little anecdotes revealing his playful personality.

Beverly Delich—Buble’s first manager—launched Buble's career after she met the 18-year-old when he was performing at a Vancouver talent show. In 2000, he got his big break when he performed “Mack the Knife” at the wedding of the daughter of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Now approaching 40, Buble is embarking on a new phase in his life. Last summer, the artist and his wife, Luisana Lopilato welcomed a son, Noah.

For over a decade, Buble has proven that true talent, a polished production and a delightful stage persona can light up any venue in the world and enchant all in attendance.
