First there was the 9-1 shellacking last night by the Phillies, with Cole Hamels dominating the Marlins batters - retiring 17 straight at one point. Added to that, they had five home runs, including two by rookie Domonic Brown.

Today, their  hot streak continued against the Marlins as the Phillies routed them 8-1 this afternoon in the first game of a doubleheader. Kyle Kendrick gave up just one earned run and went to 4-4 on the year.

Right now, they are back at it with Roy Halladay on the hill against Anibal Sanchez. The Phillies are currently down 2-1, but it’s only the 2nd inning.

For the first time this season, Chase Utley will start a doubleheader. Hoefully Charlie Manuel's decision to push Utley won't backfire. Thus far over the first two games of the series it's the Phillies 17-2.
