Want to change up a few rooms of the house and stick to a small budget? Get help for free with your house style this weekend with Barbara Cooper in Wilmington!Check out this free event down in Wilmington, Delaware, this weekend for some easy help and advice.

It might be your home's 15 minutes of fame, so to speak.

Area home stager and home help advice guru Barbara Cooper will talk you through design ideas that work for your rooms at the Kirkland's store in Wilmington at Brandywine Town Center, 1052 Brandywine Parkway, 1-4 p.m. in Wilmington this Saturday and Sunday, July 9 and 10.

It's all one-on-one with her for 15 minutes. Get the most out of this free time by bringing digital pictures of your rooms as they look now. She'll talk about possible major or minor changes to consider (and who doesn't need a fresh set of eyes before buying that pricey sofa or repainting the rooms?)

It's a service that normally costs in the $200 and up range from a designer or home stager.

To get the most out of this experience, also think about bringing:
- Photos of the room or rooms from several angles
- Paint samples if available
- Fabric swatches if available
- Specific photos of items you want to keep (photos, art, collections, etc.)

Barbara is an Accredited Staging Professional with her own home staging business, Staged Impressions LLC. She was a designer at the 2009-11 Middletown Designer Show House.
