Warm weather is hitting and instead of snagging a ticket to Brazil, we suggest a budget-friendly alternative by submersing yourself in an authentic Brazilian experience at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse.

Chima Brazilian Steakhouse is celebrating the change of seasons with a Restaurant Week April 9th through the 12th and April 15th through the 19th. During these weeks, guests can enjoy the entire rodizio and salad bar for only $39.50 (regularly priced at $49.50). Fully indulge in Brazilian culture by ordering a caipirinha, the national drink of Brazil using cachaça, sugar and lime and satisfy your sweet tooth with a Brazilian-style flan, cream caramel, for dessert.

If you don’t have time to stop in for the fun, try making a caipirinha at home with Chima’s recipe:

-          1 lime, quartered
-          2 teaspoon fine sugar
-          2 ounces cachaça (Chima uses Leblon)
-          Optional: strawberry, mango or kiwi flavoring

1.            Place the lime wedges and sugar into an old-fashioned glass.
2.            Muddle well to create a paste.
3.            Fill the glass with ice cubes.
4.            Pour in the cachaça.
5.            Stir well.
