A Run, Walk, Roll to Benefit Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities,

Developmental Disabilities, and Autism

WHAT:  Individuals of all ages and abilities are invited to run, walk, or roll for a life of possibilities at SPIN’s 1st Annual Possibilities in the Park 5K! Sponsored by Independence Blue Cross, the 5K will benefit SPIN’s efforts to provide residential, educational, early intervention, behavioral, employment, recreation, and wellness services for those with intellectual disabilities, autism and developmental disabilities.

1st Annual SPIN Possibilities in the Park 5K on Saturday April 14th

The 5K Run, Walk or Roll will start at SPIN’s Drummond Road Campus. In addition, participants will have the option to partake in a non-competitive one-mile walk to further benefit SPIN.

The course will take runners, walkers, and rollers through the SPIN campus and surrounding neighborhood, and end at a family-friendly festival full of freebies, fun, and games with event sponsors PhillyHealthWatch.com, Skinny Water, MIX 106.1 FM, and Academy Injury and Health Center. Food trucks Sweet Bo x, Lil Dan’s, Foo Truck, and Say Cheese Philadelphia will be selling their goodies at the festival, and 10% of the proceeds will further benefit SPIN.
