Rush Limbaugh tops Pat Robertson in stupidity with his Haiti comments
"We've already donated to Haiti,'' Limbaugh told the caller on his radio show. "It's called the U.S. income tax."
Everything goes back to President Obama in this clown's head. The Haiti earthquake is the worst disaster since the Boxing Day tsunami. We're talking about a castrophe here, which requires help from many nations, because face it-Haiti (which was already in bad shape) is destroyed. And, this idiot uses the opportunity to knock Obama. I bet if George W. Bush were in office and asking for people to help through the White House website, he'd be all for it.
“Everything this president sees is a political opportunity, including Haiti, and he will use it to burnish his credentials with minorities in this country and around the world, and to accuse Republicans of having no compassion,” said Limbaugh.
It's not as if Limbaugh has much credibility with anyone outside of the extreme right-just like Pat Robertson. Therefore, you cannot take him seriously. He's a parody of himself and it's unlikely even he believes the crap that he says.
With that said, I'm not going to call for the man's firing. He may be lowrent, obscene, and an atrocity on the airwaves, but he still has a right to say stupid and disgusting things.
On another note, George W. Bush has accepted Obama's offer to help out with the Haiti effort. I've knocked W. a million times, but I have to give him credit here for getting involved with the Haiti relief effort. Bush will join Clinton in helping out with fundraising efforts.
