Adopt "Remy" - Northeast Animal Rescue's Pet of the Week

(Remy has been adopted!)

NAR is ecstatic to announce that Adrianna, Eugene, Harley, Seymour, and Smokey have been adopted this week!Adopt "Remy" - Northeast Animal Rescue's Pet of the Week

Meet Remy, a special needs kitten that doesn’t know she has special needs.  Remy has had both eyes removed due to severe infection, yet being blind does not stop her from playing with her favorite toys, or attempting to chase the dogs she lives with.  Remy is also FIV positive, which means she will need regular veterinary care and prompt attention if illness should arise.

Since FIV is predominantly transmitted through deep bite wounds, if you have a peaceful cat household, Remy could live with you and your cats and the risk of transmission between cats is minimal to none.  Remy’s only requirements (in her opinion) are a warm bed, and a full food dish.  Are you her perfect match?

Remy is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia.  She has tested positive for FIV.  She was born in April 2012.
