President Obama's Idea of Immigration Reform Doesn't Address Border Control

If I ran into President Barack Obama and we discussed Immigration Reform it would go like this.

OBAMA:"We are not going to ship back 12 million peopleobama immigration reform

MARS: Why the hell not? And it's closer to 20 million.

OBAMA:”We're not going to do it as a practical matter.”

MARS: You mean the Democrats are afraid of losing the millions of votes of Americans of Mexican decent, the Republicans are afraid of them too, even though they get almost none of that voting bloc.

OBAMA:” We would have to take all our law enforcement that we have available and we would have to use it and put people on buses......”

MARS: Great idea; trains, planes, ships, whatever it takes.

OBAMA:”...and rip families apart, and that's not who we are, that's not what America is about.”

MARS: You realize that we are being invaded? Surrendering to an occupation force is certainly not what America is about.

OBAMA:We're going to bring these folks out of the shadows.

MARS: And shoot them?

OBAMA: We're going to make them pay a fine,

MARS: ...And make them stand in a corner …

OBAMA: they are going to have to learn English,

MARS: F&#ing finally!

OBAMA:...they are going to have to go to the back of the line...but they will have a pathway to citizenship over the course of 10 years.

MARS: I hope you mean 10 years of hard labor, and the back of the line is in Antarctica.

The President and I did not have a face to face, as much as I'd like to meet him over his home brew someday.  I was responding to his comments on immigration from January, and didn't hear any real change in his position at the State of the Union Address.  The most basic fact relating to immigration reform is that we do not control our borders and we need to. As usual, the public debate is a pack of lies.

One of the bigger whoppers is that immigrants do jobs that Americans don't want. In our current recession/depression there are millions of us ready, willing and able to do any job we can get to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.

I have personal experience of not being able to work for companies that made a corporate decision to hire only hispanics. As a child I did every kind of farm labor that there is - like millions of us, while in myth only illegals will do this hard work. There is a small group of illegal aliens that actually think they can take over the American southwest and make it part of Mexico. They call it Aztlan.

The issue seems complex, but is actually simple and easy to fix.  The right thing to do is get rid of all illegal immigrants, and confiscate any and all assets they have as the cost of sneaking into our country.  The how to do it is....slavery.  However abhorrent that concept is, in this case the slaves would be choosing to be slaves, by not going back where they belong.

On January 1st next year, or some other random date, anyone who is in our country illegally is a slave. They could be doled out to both companies and private citizens in any number of ways.  In a perfect world they would all just leave, but that won't happen.
