PADD announces first annual Awareness Walk to be held in Camden, NJ

Recently, an article was posted concerning Nikki Kellenyi and how an organization with a very powerful message was formed out of the darkness that surrounded Nikki’s death.

People Against Distracted Driving (PADD) is an organization that is getting nation-wide attention and doing a great deal of positive work when it comes to educating people on the dangers of distracted driving and putting signs all around the country to heighten the awareness.

I am pleased to announce, officially through Philly2Philly.com, that I have been asked by Mike Kellenyi, Nikki’s father and PADD founder, to help organize PADD’s first annual Awareness Walk for People Against Distracted Driving being held April 13, 2014 in Camden, NJ on the waterfront.

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the walk will fall just days before the anniversary of when the world lost a beautiful soul.  The walk will focus on creating awareness for distracted driving by having all who wish to walk gather and walk the waterfront in memory of a loved one who they may have loss due to a distracted driver or simply just to support the cause and those lost such as Nikki and their families.

A Facebook event page has been created with more details while PADD’s website is updated.  Anyone who is interested in donating to PADD, sponsoring, having a vendor table at the opening ceremonies or volunteering, please contact me via email at karstebbins@gmail.com
