Politics 2014: Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Torture Report, and more

Okay. It’s over.

We’ve had our “Torture Minute.”

Let’s get on with Christmas….oooooopppps, sorry, The Holidays.

You know, The Important Stuff.Photo credit: blogs.wsj.com

Shooting or strangling unarmed black men.

Two or three more adjectives and this will become a country song. Just need a dog. And a heartless woman.

Sarah Palin will fill that spot: she thinks the Pope is too liberal.

Why should we be embarrassed? Or humiliated? After all: We’re Awesome!!

Just ask Dick Cheney. "It worked. It absolutely did work,” Cheney said on Meet The Press. “"I'd do it again in a minute."

No Jimmy Swaggart tearful “I have sinned” moment for Vice. No sir. No doubt. No remorse. No reference to the facts either. Like the one that says it didn’t work. Or the one that says that one quarter of the detainees at Guantanamo were there by mistake, they were not terrorists.

Too bad: shit happens.

Meanwhile: where’s Junior? He’s making a little money with a new book on the bestseller list. It’s about Pappy. You know, the father he wanted to eclipse with his tougher, meaner, leaner attitude toward Saddam and his gang.

He sure did a nice job, didn’t he?

Is this a great country or what?

Merry Christmas!!
