Kenny Britt Burns The Eagles in 37-19 loss

The Eagles' epic 4th quarter collapse can be blamed on one man; former Rutgers star Kenny Britt. The Eagles fell to the Titans 37-19 yesterday. They were leading 19-10 early in the 4th quarter when their defense imploded while the offense failed to generate any offense. Kenny Britt, the former Rutgers star torched them for 225 yards on 7 receptions and 3 touchdowns. And he only played in 3 quarters. Andy Reid announced that Michael Vick will regain his starting job when he returns following the Eagles' bye week.

Local Swimmer Dies in United Arab Emirates

Local swimmer Fran Crippen died over the weekend in a swimming competition in the United Arab Emirates. Fellow swimmers stated that the temperature reached 100 degrees while the water temp was around 85. Basically conditions were too hot for the competition. It is believed he died of exhaustion.

Phillies Choke Against Giants in NLCS

The Phillies will not make it back to the World Series for a third year in a row following their historic upset at the hands of the Giants. The Giants killed their season Saturday night in Game 6 of the NLCS, beating them 3-2. Ryan Howard, came up empty in the entire playoffs by going homerless for 57 at-bats.  The Giants and Rangers will face off on Wednesday.
