Donovan McNabb Benched in Loss to Lions

Donovan McNabb was benched late in the fourth quarter of the Redskins 37-25 loss to the Detroit Lions. Ndamukong Suh played like a man possessed and further proved why he will help turn the Detroit Lions franchise around.

Yemen Cargo Plane Bomb Plot Details Emerge

Philadelphia's International Airport was at the forefront of international headlines last week when a bomb plot was thwarted. FBI officials searched a UPS cargo plane and discovered explosives inside printer cartridges. It was then discovered that Yemen-based terrorists attempted to send these packages containing exploses to several synagogues in Chicago.

Jayson Werth: Will He Stay Or Will He Go?

Don't expect Jayson Werth to re-sign with the Phillies. His agent Scott Boras was on with Howard Eskin last week and from the way he talked you would think he was representing Hank Aaron. Boras made it a point to say how players like Werth are rare in this day and age. While Werth is a great defensive player and puts up 25-30 homers and 85-100 RBI, will the Phillies cough up the $16 million Boras will demand? Boras is believed to be seeking a contract similar to Matt Holliday's 7-year $120 million deal. As Philly2Philly's Matt Barbiarz stated, the Phillies have a aging team. Werth is 31 years old and will probably want a 6 to 7 year deal. Don't expect the Phillies to acquiesce him.
