Michael Vick Named NFC Player of the Week

Michael Vick has been named NFC Player of the Week following his superb performance against Peyton Manning and the Colts on Sunday. Vick completed 17 of 29 passes for 218 yards and a TD to go along with a rushing TD on Sunday. Word is his agent was in town for a visit. Vick told 610 WIP's Howard Eskin that his agent just wanted to check out the team this week.

Bullying Addressed at Boyertown School District

Parents of students voiced their concerns over a rash of bullying incidents in Gilbertsville Tuesday night.  This follows the suicide of Jessie Buchsbaum a few weeks ago. Boyertown's High School has been rife with bullying incidents against children with special needs and other students who "don't fit in." It's time that something be done about bullying in this country. Is it too much to suggest that adolescents be charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault for these appalling acts?

Nothing New to Report on Jayson Werth

All is quiet on the Jayson Werth front. Look for Scott Boras to milk this for what it's worth and get Werth the most money possible as it's his last chance at big time money.
