The Omelette Friday November 12, 2010 Weekly Roundup

3 Women Robbed Outside Sugarhouse Casino

The area surrounding the Sugarhouse Casino should not be confused as a safe area. Last night's robbery reiterates that. Three women were robbed and assaulted as they were entering the Sugarhouse casino last night. The assailants are described as African-American males in their 20's.

Now, the roundup...

Keith Olbermann, who was suspended on a trumped up NBC policy (over 3 political campaign donations) returned to the airwaves this week with huge ratings. Conan O'Brien returned this week with his TBS Show "Conan" and had huge ratings in his return, beating both Jay Leno and Letterman.  Matt Lauer and NBC exploited Kanye West for ratings by hoping to rile him up on air. Michael Vick was back in a big way Sunday against the Colts and earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. The Phillies replaced Davey Lopes on their coaching staff with former Phillie Juan Samuel. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito violated the ultimate decree by engaging in a political fundraiser.

Finally, the Eagles will not play this Sunday, but will take on the Redskins on Monday Night. Look for them to get revenge against McNabb.
