The Omelette Weekly Roundup: Kensington Strangler, Eagles, Michael C. Hall and Scarlett Johansson Divorces, Facebook Down, Cliff Lee, Phillies and more

The Omelette Friday December 17, 2010 Weekly Roundup

Kensington Strangler's 3rd Victim Confirmed

Authorities confirmed that a woman found dead on Wednesday evening was the third murder victim of the Kensington Strangler.  She was also posed, which is a staple of serial killers. Philadelphia officially has a serial killer on it's hands in the Kensington Strangler.

And, now the roundup...

Cliff Lee has $120 million reasons to smile for sure, but he wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the amazing Philadelphia Phillies fans. Phillies fans, particularly the ones who pay to go to all of the games should smile and rejoice - you are a huge reason for the Phillies swooping in and vulturing Cliff Lee from the Yankees.

This week was one for the ages with regards to Hollywood divorces. Dexter stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter announced they are getting divorced, which will certainly make things interesting as Dexter goes into Season 6. And, megastars Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds also announced they are going to divorce. They say that if you're going to cut it off, do it before the Holidays, but who would've thought two major Hollywood divorces would be announced in one week.

Facebook users can relax knowing that Facebook only went down for a few minutes yesterday. Everything is right in the world once again.

Finally, we can all relax knowing that the Eagles are FINALLY going to play before our bedtime - for the majority of us who work during the first shift. The Eagles will take on the Giants Sunday at 4:15 P.M. up in the Meadowlands. But, the following week the Eagles - Vikings game got moved to primetime even though it's a meaningless game for the Birds. I guess the NFL just likes to punish us first shifters out there.
