Phillies Win 6th Straight, Shane Victorino Hurt, Abduction Suspect Caught in Abington

The Omelette:  Wednesday July 28, 2010 Edition

The Phillies have stretched their winning streak to a season-high six games with the 9-5 win over the D-backs, but it came at the expense of suffering yet another injury. This time Shane Victorino suffered a strained muscle in his left side and left the game in the 7th inning.  Victorino will have an MRI today.  The Phils just can't catch a break.

NBC10 reported that Reginald McNeil, was arrested for the abduction of a young waitress in Abington.  She fought for her life and managed to throw herself from the vehicle after he already got one handcuff on her.  McNeil served 27 years in prison for a similar crime and was released in late 2009.  This is a case where prison failed.
