Weekly Round-up

Philly cops rob bar in Frankford

Looks like at least one cop is going to lose his job after robbing a bar in Frankford of $825 according to Commissioner Charles Ramsey.

Roy Oswalt is a Phillie

Once again the Phils hosed Ed Wade and the Astros-just like they did when they got Brad Lidge for next to nothing. The Phillies get one of the premiere aces in the NL in Roy Oswalt and gave up J.A. Happ and literally a bucket of balls - two no-name prospects (Anthony Gose and shortstop Jonathan Villar). And, oh yeah they also got the Astros to fork over a bunch of cash towards Oswalt's contract as well.

Domonic Brown has a dazzling debut

Shane Victorino was injured during Wednesday's game and one day later Domonic Brown made his debut and quite a debut it was. He went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.

Philly Cop Killers face death penalty

Two thugs who were involved in the murder of Sergent Stephen Liczbinski were found guilty of first degree murder. Now they may get the death penalty. Commissioner Charles Ramsey looks forward to the day they hook up with http://www.philly.com/dailynews/local/20100729_Jury_finds_two_guilty_of_...
