Eagles training camp off to rocky start

During the morning practice at Lehigh, Ellis Hobbs and rookie wide receiver Riley Cooper (5th round pick from Florida) got into a scuffle. Stewart Bradley intervened and got the pair to cease.

Desean Jackson injures back

DeSean Jackson, who is upset about not getting Larry Fitzgerald money, was carted off the field with a back injury during the afternoon practice. According to Howard Eskin of NBC10, Jackson tweaked his back and it's nothing serious.

Brad Lidge strikes again

The Phillies had a 5-4 lead in the 9th inning last night and Brad Lidge once again blew it. He served up a game-winning 3-run walk-off blast to Ryan Zimmerman. The Nationals won, 7-5.
