Four year-old boy shot in Royersford

A four-year-old boy was accidentally shot and killed in Royersford yesterday afternoon. It appears that the little boy picked up his father's gun and was playing with it when the gun accidentally went off.

Rod Thorn Hired as Sixers President

Vai Sikihema reported on Wednesday night that Rod Thorn has been hired as Philadelphia 76ers President, taking the job away from Ed Stefanski, who will still remain as the Sixers' GM. Thorn is one of the most well-respected front office people in the NBA, having served as the GM of the Bulls and responsible for drafting Michael Jordan. He also was the GM of the Nets when they made the NBA Finals two years in a row in the early 2000's.

Man at Eagles Camp in Lehigh Told to Take Off McNabb Redskins Jersey

Finally we have some controversy at Lehigh. All it took was an idiot plus a McNabb Redskins jersey. Said idiot stood on the sidelines and was quickly asked to remove the jersey.  His defense for the violation? The so-called "fan" said he was just trying to get a laugh out of Eagles fans. Not one true Eagles fan in their right mind would ever go to Lehigh attempting such a thing with the expectations of getting a laugh. Just an idiotic move all around.

Roy Oswalt dominates in first home start as a Phillie

Roy Oswalt went 7 innings and didn't surrender a run as the Phils beat the Dodgers 2-0. A far cry from Tuesday night's 15-9 blowout.
