Christine O'Donnell Wins GOP Primary in Delaware

Chrstine O'Donnell went into Tuesday night's primary against Congressman Mike Castle a huge underdog. In fact, she lost her last election to then-Senator Joe Biden by a 65% to 35% margin in 2008. Last night, the worm turned and Christine O'Donnell came out a winner, securing the GOP nomination. She'll go up against Democrat Chris Coons in the November election for the Senate seat vacated by Joe Biden. O'Donnell is backed by The Tea Party, Sarah Palin, and The Tea Party Express.

Phillies Knock Off Marlins and Braves Lose

The Phillies are now two games ahead of the Braves in the NL East as they defeated the Marlins 2-1 behind Cole Hamels 13 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Hamels' scoreless innings streak (22 scoreless innings) was snapped in the first inning, but then again it will be tough to top Orel Hershiser's MLB record 59 scoreless innings streak in 1998-1999. The Phils and the Fish go back at it again tomorrow night in South Florida.

Lady Gaga Performs at Wells Fargo Center

President Obama wasn't the only big-name in Philly yesterday. Lady Gaga, who was all the rage after doning her meat dress at the VMAs Sunday night was in Philly last night at the Wells Fargo Center.
