Kevin Kolb to Start Sunday Against Jaguars

Andy Reid squashed any potential quarterback controversy hubbub, by announcing that Kevin Kolb would start next Sunday against the Jaguars before the Eagles' game against the Lions Sunday. Michael Vick was electrifying in his start, but he'll head back to the bench this Sunday when the Eagles take on Jacksonville. Hopefully Andy Reid doesn't yank Kolb out of the game every other play in the first quarter, killing any type of rhythm for the young signal caller.

Phillies Knock Off Braves, Now up Four games

The Phillies grinded out a tough win last night, winning 3-1 against the Atlanta Braves. Once again Cole Hamels was dominant, going 8 innings, striking out 6, and allowing just one run. The Fightins are now up 4 games in the NL East and their magic number is down to 7. Phillies home games have been laden with outrageous incidents this year from "The Puker" Matthew Clemmens to a Philies fan getting tasered on the field and a fan running onto the field a night later being busted with weed. Last night, a Phillies fan in a bodysuit took the leap and ran onto the field and Cousin It made an appearance as well.

See if you can spot the fan dressed up as Cousin It in this photo from the game last night.cousin it phillies game
