The Phillies are Finally in First Place
The Phillies beat the Marlins 8-7 in dramatic fashion last night and leap-frogged the Braves for first place in the NL East. They are now 1/2 game ahead of the Braves.
New Jersey Man Stabbed to Death By Highschool Sweetheart
A 20-year-old New Jersey man was stabbed to death by his 19-year-old girlfriend. The high school sweethearts both went to Audubon High School in New Jersey. Paige Pfefferle was arraigned in a Camden County Court Tuesday for the murder of her high school sweetheart Matthew Hus.
Terry Jones is feeling the heat from all sides
Reverend Terry Jones, the architect of "Burn A Koran Day" may be rethinking his half-baked Koran burning demonstration on September 11 pretty soon. Not only did General David Petreaus tell him to kill this rally, but Eric Holder, the United States Attorney General condemned this rally as well. But, of course the likes of Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and really all of the Republican voices are silent. More to come on The Watercooler later about the Republicans' convenient silence on "Burn a Koran Day."
