Gas Explosion in Allentown Destroys Row of Homes

Five people are still missing after a massive gas explosion in Allentown destroyed eight homes late last night. Flames were said to be shooting hundreds of feet in the air following the explosion.  UGI workers came to the scene and were able to shut off a nearby gas leak at 4 A.M.. According to NBC Philadelphia one person is confirmed to be dead at this time. The explosion was so strong that it could be felt as far away as Bethlehem and Northhampton.


Dr. Kermit Gosnell's Trial Begins

The trial of - the Dr. Kermit Gosnell - the abortion doctor who ran a wretched abortion clinic in West Philadelphia will begin. Kermit Gosnell's case will head straight to trial and he could face the death penalty for eight murders, including the death of a 42-year-old woman who died under his care and seven newly-born babies who were murdered with scissors.

Sixers Fall to Dwight Howard and Orlando Magic

The Sixers fell short against Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic last night - losing 99-95. They had a first quarter lead, but Dwight Howard's 30 points and 17 rebounds were too much for the upstart Sixers, who have been playing much better of late.
