Ice Storm Hits Philadelphia Area

A nasty ice storm rolled into the Lehigh Valley and North and Western suburbs of Philadelphia over the night. Many areas saw up to a half of inch of ice. Fortunately, the conditions are already starting to improve as temperatures are beginning to eclipse the freezing mark in around the city and suburbs. The weather should change over to rain by late morning. Even still there are reports of thousands of power outages throughout the eastern PA region.

Groundhog Day 2011: Will Punxsutawney See His Shadow?

Groundhog Day 2011 is certainly not a pretty day this year. With an ice storm hitting much of Pennsylvania including the small town of Punxsutawney, it's a guarantee that Punxsutawney Phil won't see his shadow.  Therefore, we can rest assured we'll have a short winter...well at least according to Phil.

Jihad Jane Pleads Guilty

The woman known as "Jihad Jane" pleaded guilty to the alleged plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist. Colleen LaRose, a former resident of Pennsburg, PA could face life in prison for her role in the terror plot.
