Former PA Governor Ed Rendell and Wife Midge Rendell Announce Separation

Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and his wife Marjorie have announced they are separating after 40 years of marriage. Rendell recently wrapped up his second term as PA Governor and will return to legal practice in Philadelphia, while also writing a weekly sports column for the Philadelphia Daily News. Rendell and his wife also made it clear they will remain friends and it would be ok to invite both of them to public functions.

Pregnant Woman Beaten and Murdered Outside Traffic Court

A 21-year-old pregnant woman was murdered outside of a Philadelphia traffic court while walking outside yesterday. Tovoyia Owens, the mother of a three-year-old girl and pregnant with another baby, was walking outside traffic court with her boyfriend when she was accosted by her former boyfriend and four other people. The gang of hoodlumns reportedly unleashed a beating upon her and she hit her head and died from the injuries. A 29-year-old man believed to the ex was arrested.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell Could Face Death Penalty

Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor who ran an illegal late-term abortion clinic will face eight murder counts in total. He is charged with the murders of seven newly-born babies and a 42-year-old woman who died under his care. The gruesome discoveries inside his abortion clinic are among the most horrific ever in the history of Philadelphia. Gosnell could face the death penalty for his horrific crimes.
