St. Patrick's Day 2011: Corned Beef and Cabbage, Guiness, and...Preston and Steve

Opening Day of NCAA Tournament

There were four play-in games, which were on channels that nobody watches, but today is the real opening day of March Madness. It's a perfect storm of sorts with St. Patrick's Day falling on the same day. Today Temple will take on Penn State and look to finally get out of the first round of the NCAA Tournament under Fran Dunphy. And, tomorrow Villanova will take on George Mason out in Arizona. Japanese Helicopters Dumping Water on Nuclear Reactor

In what appears to be a last ditch effort to stave off a full-blown nuclear meltodown, Japanese officials are using helicopters to dump seawater on a nuclear reactor, which has been rendered nearly empty of water. U.S. officials dispute Japanese claims about the radiation levels and fear it's much worse than they are letting on.
