Man Charged in Murders of Twin Brother and Parents in Upper Merion

In one of the most shocking local cases in years, a 23-year-old man from Gulph Mills snapped over the weekend and murdered his twin brother and both of his parents. Police reportedly found him standing in their garage completely covered in blood after stabbing his brother and parents to death. Joseph McAndrew, Jr., 23, was arrested Saturday and charged with three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Joseph C. McAndrew, 70, Susan C. McAndrew, 64, and James McAndrew, 23. McAndrew reportedly used knives and a samurai sword to perform the executions. He told police they were "exterminations."

Andre Iguodala Has Another Triple Double

Two days after recording a triple double on Friday night against the Timberwolves, Sixers guard Andre Iguodala followed up with another triple double, scoring 15 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists. The Sixers came out on top in overtime against the Golden State Warriors after they clawed back in the fourth quarter.

Flyers Get Blown Out By New York Rangers

They Flyers have been nothing short of mediocre of late during their slump, but on Sunday they were flat out horrendous. They were blown out by the New York Rangers 7-0. They made Ryan Callahan look like Wayne Gretzky, who had a career-high 4 goals. Perhaps this embarrasing game is what they needed to inject some life in this team. Sometimes teams need to hit rock bottom before going on a run. Take for instance the 2008 Phillies' offensive slump in the summer before they went on their run.
