Phillies Defeat Marlins 3-2 Behind Cole Hamels' Stellar Pitching

The Phillies defeated the Marlins 3-2 yesterday at The Bank, to improve to 10-4 on the season. All it took was an unearned run in the 8th to grind out the victory. Cole Hamels was in midseason form - going 7 innings, allowing 2 earned and striking out 7.

It's National Tax Day...Apparently 1 in 5 People File Today

It's that time of the year again (Tax Day) when the procrasinators have to sweat it out to file their federal income taxes just in time. Apparently 1 in 5 people wait until the final day to get their taxes done. Another interesting thing to note is that 45% of Americans won't owe any federal taxes, most of whom are low earners.

Chris Pronger Injury Could Be More Serious

Coach Peter Laviolette made it a point to note that he won't comment on injuries or the goalie situation. Perhaps, the Flyers won't let on too much about Pronger's injury because it is more serious than it seems. According to Howard Eskin on NBC Sports Final last night, it is more serious than originally thought.  Pronger did travel with the team to Buffalo, but he won't play in game 3.
